Q: Can I give myself a coning treatment?
A: It is not recommended. Coning is a two person procedure.
Q: How long does a session take?
A: Typically about 45 minutes.
Q: If I want to perform a home treatment are there instructions?
A: Yes. Each package of cones includes detailed instructions. Please read and follow them closely.
Q: Who should not have their ears coned?
A: Persons who have a perforated ear drum, recent ear, eye, or sinus surgery, drainage tubes, infection or ear disease should not undergo this procedure.
Q: Is there any discomfort?
A: No. In fact, ear coning can be very soothing and relaxing. Music or incense can be added to enhance the experience. Some people even report falling asleep during a session, hence the need for two people.
